Lithuanian Case Study Site Visit and Meeting with Stakeholders
11th June 2015 the project BaltCoast scientists from Klaipeda University and Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemünde visited Lithuania case study site in Curonian Spit. The main aim of this visit was to have a look at the study site and the potential lagoon bathing water quality. In Nida Culture and Tourism Information Centre “Agila” scientists presented the project BaltCoast objectives and activities for participating stakeholders Aušra Feser Director of Kuršių nerija National Park; Lina Dikšaitė Deputy director of Kuršių nerija National Park; Ramūnas Bartkus Head of Architecture department at Neringa municipality; Jelena Andriejauskienė Head of Business and Strategic Development department at Neringa municipality; Renata Jakienė UAB “Neringos vanduo” representative. During the meeting participants discussed the issue of bathing water quality and possible future collaboration.
